HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County has 11 active cases of COVID-19 as of Monday afternoon.
According to the dashboard at renogov.org, 63 total positive cases have been recorded in the pandemic, with 52 recoveries.
2,653 tests have been administered with 2,590 negative, for a positive test rate of 2.37%. 4.22% of the population has been tested.
Eight of the positive cases since the beginning required hospitalization. None of the current cases are in the hospital. Five of the eight put in the hospital ended up in the ICU. Three were ventilated. No one has died from COVID-19 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center thus far.
The statewide mortality rate is at 1.9%, with 271 deaths recorded statewide, out of 14,197 positives. 8,960 have recovered.
