HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A member of U.S. Senator Jerry Moran’s (R-Kan.) staff will be in Hutchinson to hold an open office opportunity at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st at the Hutchinson Public Library.

These office hours are open to all residents in the area experiencing difficulties with Social Security, Medicare, immigration issues, Veterans’ Affairs or have other concerns regarding federal issues.

This event does not require an RSVP.

More information on requesting assistance with a federal agency online through Sen. Moran’s office can be found here.

If you are a Kansas resident and can’t get an answer from a federal agency in a timely manner, or if you have questions about a program or process, Moran's office may be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need.

The office cannot circumvent agency rules, force a decision in your favor, or change a decision that is already final, but they will do their best to help you receive a fair and deserved response to your problem.

The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C § 552a) requires that Members of Congress have written authorization before they can obtain information about an individual’s case. Moran's office must have your handwritten, non-digital signature to proceed with your request. The event in Hutchinson is an opportunity to do that in person.

Questions about the event may be directed to [email protected].
