Today's "Throwback Thursday Collection" takes us to the 2300 block of North Main on the east side.
After the diner era, they morphed into varied afterlives. One of the few remaining in the Hutchinson area is at 2310 N. Main.
It's hard telling where it began life, but it first showed up at 2310 in 1949 and became the Florence McBride Retail Liquor Store. It continued being various liquor stores in the 1950s, '60s, '70s and '80s, with names like Mary Hennessy, Nesbitt Liquor and Buntain Liquor.
From 1984 to 1993, it became the Deming Film Drop. The first photo shows that business in 1985.

In the 1990s, it was Smokes For Less.
In the 2000s, it was a Pay Day Money Store.
In 2018, Sherry Bradley remodeled it into the Double Bubble self-serve dog wash. The second photo shows it at opening.

In 2024, Sherry added the Double Bubble Pet Wash II directly behind number one. The third and fourth photos show the facility today still at 2310 N. Main and still owned by Sherry Bradley, with a third location having just opened at 5th and Washington.
