Executive Director Kristi Busatti says the fundraiser will be held Tuesday, June 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 1861 Club on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The event is free to attend, although donations will be accepted to support Open Door's programs.

Busatti says Open Door has served Reno County and surrounding communities for nearly 25 years, providing free pregnancy tests, sonograms, parenting classes, prenatal education, and STI testing and treatment.

The organization operates from its center at 315 West First Avenue in Hutchinson and also uses a mobile unit to bring services directly into the community, including regular visits to Hutchinson Community College during the school year.

This year's luncheon will feature guest speaker Tricia Gaggere of Christ the Victor Church. Busatti says the event is designed to encourage women while raising funds to ensure all Open Door services remain available at no cost to clients.
