SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal Sunday morning accident in Shawnee County have identified the 12-year-old victim as Landon S. Turner of Olathe, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
Just after 12:30a.m. Sunday, a 2004 Acura driven by 19-year-old Dalton V. Turner of Berryton was southbound in the 8300 Block of Ratner Road when the driver lost control, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The Acura entered the west ditch, struck a culvert and rolled multiple times.
Landon Turner, the front passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Lifesaving procedures were performed; however he was pronounced deceased. EMS transported Dalton Turner to a local hospital with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
