PLEASANT VIEW HOME

Pleasant View Home is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a PEAK 2.0 Program facility at the Sustained Level 7 for 2025–2026 by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). This recognition honors Pleasant View Home’s continued commitment to person-centered care and quality of life for residents.

The PEAK (Promoting Excellent Alternatives in Kansas Nursing Homes) program encourages and rewards nursing homes that embrace person-centered care practices—giving residents greater voice and choice in their daily lives, from dining and activities to individualized care decisions.

Achieving the Sustained Level demonstrates that Pleasant View Home has successfully maintained person-centered practices over time and continues to integrate these values into daily operations.

“Person-centered care is not a task; it’s a calling – to treat every person as family, with patience, respect, and unconditional kindness,” said Michelle Neufeld, Administrator. “This award celebrates those who place people at the heart of every decision, turning care into a partnership built on empathy and respect. We are so lucky to have wonderful people who care for our elders.”

Pleasant View Home’s recognition reflects the hard work and heart of its staff, residents, and families who together make the Inman-based facility a trusted and caring place to live. A nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Campus, Pleasant View Home has been operating in Inman since 1947, and is owned by six area churches.
