Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Ellen (Crotts) Kee, 86, passed away July 12, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born February 10, 1935, at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, to Russell Lawrence and Elizabeth (Burke) Crotts.
Betty worked various office positions for 20 years and retired from Civil Service, after working 25 years for the United States Department of Air Force and United States Department of Agriculture. She was a longtime resident of Hutchinson, member of the Partridge Community Church, Partridge, and attended New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson.
On November 18, 1956, Betty married Eanos Earl Kee. They shared over 57 years of marriage, prior to his death in 2013.
She is survived by: sister, Malinda Hovious; stepsons, Edwin (Diane) Kee of Cumming, GA, and Michael (Kathy) Kee of Florida; step-grandsons, Chad (Hillary) and Michael, Jr; step-granddaughter, Cassandra; and step-great-granddaughters, Isabella and Olivia.
Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and three brothers.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the Partridge Cemetery, Partridge, with Rev. Craig Waetke officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to New Covenant Presbyterian Church or Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
