RENO COUNTY, Kan. — According to a social media post from Storm Creek Horse Co. Farm and Rescue, they helped the Reno County Sheriff's Office and rescued two horses this week from a property north of Hutchinson. The owner surrendered them to Storm Creek.

The grey is a stallion, reported to be 8 years old. He was completely unhandled (never had a halter on before today) and is showing some slight aggression.

The filly is reported to be 3. She is extremely underdeveloped. She'd worn a halter before but had never even been led.

Both are in quarantine and Storm Creek is seeking donations to help with the finances of caring for the horses.

Their vet bill is at Equine Surgery & Medicine. Their number is 316-744-2007 and they are always happy to take a payment on behalf of the rescue.

They can always use supplies like hay, dewormer, minerals, joint supplement, and Optizyme. They are in desperate need of water tanks and fence panels.

You can give money online in multiple ways.
