WABAUNSEE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11p.m. Friday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Kenworth semi driven by Cory L. Halling, 45, St. John, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of Snokomo Road. A large rock struck the windshield of the truck.
EMS transported Halling to Stormont Vail in Topeka for treatment of a serious injury. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP. The patrol released no additional details.
