Brett Andrew Adcock, 61, of McPherson, died Feb. 4, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. He was born July 2, 1959, in Hutchinson, to Clark and Donna (Curtiss) Adcock.

Brett graduated from McPherson High School in 1977, where he was a standout athlete, until two knee injuries kept him from furthering his athletic career. After high school, Brett went to work for Johns Manville, McPherson, where he worked for over 40 years. Known as a workaholic, he also owned Andrews Lawn Service. He would mow lawns in the morning, and then go to work at Johns Manville in the afternoon.  Recently, he helped his girlfriend with her salsa business-- working as a sales representative for Sabroso Salsa.  In his spare time, Brett enjoyed hunting; especially ducks, geese, and turkeys. He was an avid K-State football fan.  Brett was of the Methodist faith.

Brett is survived by his mom, Donna of McPherson; daughter, Monica Conyers (Sean) of Wichita; sisters, Jana Myers (Jimmy) and Carrie Clark (Curt), all of McPherson; five grandchildren; girlfriend, Roxie Cummings of Wichita; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clark Adcock and son, Brandon Clark Adcock.

Cremation has taken place. Per Brett’s wishes, there will be no service.  On-line condolences can be left on Brett’s obituary, located on the Elliott Mortuary website.
