RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by Aaden M. Vedder, 16, Hutchinson, was northbound on Kansas 14 three miles west of Hutchinson. The driver failed to stop and struck a 2023 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Larry R. Anderson, 69, Nickerson. The impact pushed the Toyota into a 2018 Ford Transit 350 driven by William W. Plank, 63, Hutchinson, who was stopped for traffic.
EMS transported a passenger in the Toyota Donna K. Givens, 66, Nickerson, to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. The drivers were not injured. All four were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
