DERBY, Kan. — Hutchinson put together a solid team showing Monday at the Derby Invitational, finishing sixth in a deep 12-team field at Derby Golf and Country Club.
The Salthawks shot a 340, led by Maks Dreiling’s 82. Landyn Powell followed with an 83, while Alex Haas added an 87 and Tate England carded an 88 to round out Hutchinson’s scoring four.
Kale Dreiling shot a 92 for Hutchinson, and Teagan England finished with a 93.
Valley Center and Garden City tied for the team title at 323. Derby finished third with a 330, while McPherson was fourth at 331.
McPherson was led by Paxton Ingels, who placed third individually with a 76. Drake Timson added an 80, while Zane Sporleder shot an 87 and Hunter Vogelsberg finished with an 88.
Garden City’s Brayden Walter won individual medalist honors with a 72. Valley Center’s Christian Fowler was second with a 73.
