HutchCC Sports Information
The Hutchinson Community College Spirit Squad earned two runner-up finishes on Sunday at the 2023 Region VI Cheer and Dance Championships.
The Blue Dragon Cheer Squad finished second in the Advanced Small Co-ed division.
The Dragon Dolls earned second place in Jazz and fourth in Hip-Hop.
Both teams finished in the top 10 highest scores overall from the day.
Dragon Doll soloists Maggie Strobel and Rubi Rodriguez also finished in the Top 10 out of 20 competitors.
The Spirit Squad will perform these routines again at the Blue Dragon Cheer and Dance Showcase on Saturday, April 1st at the Sports Arena before the group travels to the NCA and NDA College Nationals in Daytona, Florida in April.
