Paul Matthew Cannon, 45, passed away March 21, 2022, after a long-fought battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born December 8, 1976, in Hutchinson, the son of Roger and Marcy (Shinn) Cannon.

Paul graduated Hutchinson High School in 1995.  He was an avid Chiefs and Jayhawk fan, and enjoyed playing golf, grilling, and watching his children compete in various sports. Paul was an extremely hard worker and a team-lead for Siemens, until his health took a turn.  He was a six-year lung transplant survivor.  Despite all the adversity Paul faced the past six years, his priority was to watch his children, even when he was no longer able to be on the sidelines.  Paul would find a way to watch his children from the comforts of his own home. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and an amazing father.

Paul is survived by:  his parents, Roger and Marcy Cannon; children, Mariah, Rylie, Cruz and Cain Cannon; sister, Angie Rodriguez (Israel); niece and nephew, Olivia and Caleb Rodriguez, all of Hutchinson; and a circle of friends who he considered like family.

Paul was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
