HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A temporary closure of the railroad crossing at 11th Avenue is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, as maintenance work is completed, according to the City of Hutchinson.
Union Pacific crews will conduct repairs at the crossing, requiring a full closure of the roadway from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. City officials noted the timeline is subject to change depending on the progress of the work.
During the closure, a signed detour route will be in place to guide motorists around the affected area. A map of the detour has been provided by the city.
