Jane Harden, 93, of Hutchinson, died March 3, 2022, in her home. She was born May 20, 1928, in Wichita, to Henry and Doris (Sturgeon) Covey.

Jane graduated from Wichita North High School in 1946. She was the manager of Bell Credit Union for 27 years. After retiring in 1985, she began volunteering at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center at the information desk and radiology for 30 years. Jane enjoyed reading, knitting, puzzles, and Card Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hutchinson.

On January 7, 1950, Jane married Douglas Harden, in Wichita. They shared 55 years together before he passed away on May 30, 2005.

She is survived by: daughters, Pam Maddox, Lewisville, Texas; Diane Ravenstien, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Carrie Norvell (Ted), Greenville, Texas; Tim Jander (Kim), Ladera Ranch, California; Rob Jander (Christie), Lewisville, Texas; Sarah Elliott (Andy), McPherson; Ryan Ravenstien (Misti), Sterling; Nathan Ravenstien (Stephanie), Hutchinson; 14 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Doug Harden; and sisters, Evadna Covey, and Betty Mitchell.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at First United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, with Reverend Kent Little officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friend may call from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary and with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
