HARVEY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9 p.m. Sunday in Harvey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 GMC Sierra driven by&nbsp; James M&nbsp;Rundzieher, 21, Rayville, Louisiana, was&nbsp;southbound on Interstate 135 one half mile south of First Street in Newton. 

The pickup left the roadway, crashed through the guardrail, vaulted and&nbsp; landed on the train tracks under the Interstate.

Rundzieher was pronounced dead a that scene and was transported to the&nbsp;Sedgwick County Forensics Center.&nbsp; The KHP did not have seat belt usage details.
