Donald G. “Don” Schmitz, 91, died Oct. 5, 2021 at his home in Kingman.
He was born Jan 28, 1930, at Willowdale, Kansas the son of Joseph and Josephine Simmons Schmitz. A Kingman resident most of his life, he was a retired auto paint and body repairman.
Don was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman; and the Knights of Columbus, Willowdale.
On Oct. 22, 1955, he married Eula “Jeanie” Boydston at Kingman. Other survivors include son Dallas; daughters Carie Youngers and Tammy Miller; brother Leroy Schmitz; sisters Betty Oeding and Louella Schmitz; 3 grandchildren Nikki, Candi and Lexi; and 2 great-grandchildren Thea and Dan. He was preceded in death by a brother Elmer.
Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
