With winter weather on the way, the first day of the Hutchinson Battle of the Badges Blood Drive has been canceled out of an abundance of caution for our staff, donors and volunteers. There will be no blood collected tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 24, at New Covenant Presbyterian.
At this time, we anticipate continuing the drive as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 26, and Tuesday, Jan. 27, at First Presbyterian Church, 201 E Sherman. Donors can schedule an appointment by visiting redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. The sponsor code for the blood drive is “HUTCHINSON.”
The blood community appreciates the patience of blood donors and blood drive hosts during this time. If a donation appointment is not immediately available or a blood drive is moved for various scheduling reasons, please schedule for the next appointment.
