🏐 Halstead's Schutte named to KVA All-Star Game roster

The rosters for the 2024 Kansas Volleyball Association All-Star game have been announced. The game will be held at 4:30 p.m. June 1 at Washburn’s Lee Arena in Topeka.

Chosen players nominated by their coaches, who must be KVA members, and then recommended by a selection committee based on achievements, positions, classifications, collegiate plans and availability.

Little River’s Alaina Eck is the lone player of the year in her respective division chosen for the game with Eck a two-time player of the year in Class 1A Division I. She will play for the Blue Team, which will be coached by Seaman’s Tatian Dowling (head coach), Mill Valley’s Kylie Corneliusen and Maranatha’s Sam Soliday.

The Red Team will be coached by Heritage Christian’s Tom Slaughter (head), Little River’s Kim Rolfs and Louisburg’s Leanna Willer.

Dowling, Corneliusen, Slaughter and Rolfs all led their teams to state championships in the fall.
