MCPHERSON, Kan. — The Hutch Colts split a doubleheader in McPherson Wednesday night.
Game one was a walk for the Colts, as they won 17-0 behind a three-hit shutout from Bennett Turner.
Game two went to McPherson 8-3. Taybin Smith took the loss in that one, but Kinser Newquist had 2 RBI's in the loss.
