
BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler Senior Nationals baseball squad finished up their summer on Sunday by winning the Wheatland World Series tournament played in Buhler.
The Senior Nationals went 3-0 on the weekend, with their last two wins coming over Newton Saturday 7-5 and Sunday over McPherson 9-1. In Sunday's championship game, Carson Cornelius went 6 innings and gave up just 4 hits in a winning effort. Bradley Neill, Hunter Carson, Corey Gilbert and Connor Ogburn all had two hit games. Ryan Henderson had two RBI.
Buhler ends the summer season at 24-7. Congratulations to the squad and head coach Bret Konrade and assistant Jason Henderson on their successful campaign.
