HUTCHINSON, Kan. — With advance voting closing at noon, the numbers heading into Monday were quite significant in Reno County.
"On Saturday, we actually processed 671 voters in four hours," said Deputy Elections Clerk Jenna Fager. "It was amazing. Currently we have 9,613 people that have come in and early voted."
If you haven't looked at your ballot yet, you can still do that online.
"What you'll do is you'll go to voteks.gov, and you'll click on the link that says voter view. You'll just put in your name and your date of birth, and that'll bring up all of your districts. You can look at your ballot. It's the exact ballot that you're going to get at the polling location, and check out and see what's going to be on your ballot."
Fager doesn't even want to guess a turnout number at this point.
"I couldn't tell you what it's going to be this election," Fager said. "It's been record numbers, for sure. I mean, I can tell you, I think we're still going to have lines at the polls, hopefully not too long. The wait time shouldn't be terrible, because we have tried to divide them up pretty well, but yeah, I honestly could not tell you for sure. I know it's going to be a record breaker."
Fager said turnout was 71% for the 2020 Presidential race.
