HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson firefighters helped put out a kitchen fire Sunday night in the city.
According to a release from the Hutchinson Fire Department, firefighters were sent to 1401 West 19th at 6:11 p.m. for a reported structure fire.
First arriving crews were able to help the homeowners keep the fire contained to the area of origin. The homeowners had slowed the fire's progress with a home fire extinguisher. No one was hurt.
