Packers sign former Blue Dragon De'Vondre Campbell

GREEN BAY, WI - The Green Bay Packers have signed LB De'Vondre Campbell and released RB Mike Weber. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Wednesday.

Campbell is a 6-foot-4, 232-pound, sixth-year player out of the University of Minnesota. He was originally selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round (No. 115 overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

After four seasons with the Falcons, he spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, starting all 16 games for the second time in his career and registering the second-most tackles of his career (99), the second-most solo tackles (69), tying a career high in sacks (two) and setting a career high in tackles for a loss (seven).

For his career, Campbell has played in 75 games with 70 starts, recording 462 tackles (303 solo), 25 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, 13 QB hits, three interceptions, 19 passes defensed, six forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Campbell has started all five postseason contests he has played in, posting 19 tackles (16 solo), two tackles for a loss, a sack and three QB hits. He will wear No. 59 for the Packers.
