
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The vacation of Mohawk Road for the purpose of moving the landfill scale house and dealing with changes in easements for IdeaTek and Evergy related to the road closure is on the agenda Tuesday for the Reno County Board of County Commissioners.
Also as a part of the meeting, commissioners will receive a COVID-19 update from Adam Weishaar and Karen Hammersmith and pay regular bills. They will also hear from County Appraiser Brad Wright on procedural compliance for the ad valorem tax appraisal process, they will hear about election preparations from County Clerk Donna Patton and Deputy Elections Officer Jenna Fager and get an update on the disbursement of CARES Act Funds from consultant John Deardoff.
Commissioners will receive a report from County Administrator Randy Partington and go into two executive sessions, one for a privileged legal matter and another for a non-elected personnel matter.
The meeting will be at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
