HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Chipola advances at the NJCAA tournament over Hutchinson Wednesday. The final was 85-62.
The Indians were paced by Achor Achor's 22 points. Nae'qwan Tomlin added 18, Faizon Fields had 12 points, Kris Gardner added 10.
Hutchinson was led by Angelo Stuart with 16 points, Kobe Campbell had 15 and Cecil Lee 11.
The closest Hutchinson got in the second half was six at 56-50 with 11:36 to go, but then the Indians scored five straight in a little more than a minute and the Blue Dragons never threatened again.
Hutchinson ends its season at 26-9. Chipola advances to play Harcum Thursday. The Indians are 29-5.
