HARVEY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Thursday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 GMC passenger vehicle driven by Julia D. Moler, 53, Cheyenne, OK., was southbound on Interstate 135 just south of Lincoln Boulevard in Hesston.
The vehicle veered right, left the roadway and crashed into a creek embankment.
EMS transported Moler and a passenger Linda S. Towell, 57, Hammon, OK., to the hospital in Newton. Towell was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
