Because of Wednesday’s winter storm and therefore Friday’s forecast which won’t allow the field to melt and be ready to go, Friday’s Hutchinson Community College softball team’s doubleheader against the Independence Pirates has been postponed.
The Blue Dragons and Pirates were originally to have played at 2 and 4 p.m. on Friday at Fun Valley.
The games have been moved to Tuesday, February 8. Game times will be at 2 and 4 p.m. Forecast temperatures are expected to be in the mid-50s.
