KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Chiefs have plenty of problems right now and most were on display in Sunday night's 38-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills. But one on defense has been compounded by its partner problem on offense: turnovers.
The Chiefs gave away the ball four times against the Bills with Patrick Mahomes throwing two interceptions, one of which was returned for a score. And the defense failed to generate a single turnover of their own.
That dropped the Chiefs to minus-7 in turnover differential, better only than lowly Jacksonville in the entire NFL. It's a big reason why the Chiefs are 2-3 and last in the AFC West.
