
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team will be recognized in the Sports Arena tonight for its first-ever national championship in program history.
The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Sports Arena with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The celebration will feature introductions, speeches, autographs, pictures and many more fun festivities.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Blue Dragons defeated Northwest Florida State on Monday, April 1 to win the first title in the 50-year history of Blue Dragon women's basketball. Hutchinson won the game in overtime, 88-80.
