HUTCHINSON, Kan. — South Plains advanced Tuesday in the NJCAA Tournament over South Georgia Tech 88-80 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
The Texans led by as many as 12 in the second half. The Jets got as close as six with just over two minutes left before the Texans closed it out.
The Texans were paced by Kieves Turner's 28 points, Eric Coleman Jr. added 14 points and Jaden Harris had 10.
The Jets got 21 points from Will Johnston in the loss, with Marvin McGhee adding 20 and Malik Battle with 11.
