HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Artist members of the Hutchinson Art Association are invited to submit artwork to the 2024 Hutchinson Art Association Members Show; all mediums are accepted and artists of all ages are welcome. Submissions are open from now until Sept. 28.

Guidelines:

Artists must have a current Hutchinson Art Association membership in order to be eligible to participate.

Artists can submit one piece each to the exhibit (exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for diptychs and triptychs). 2D and 3D artwork is accepted.

Submissions are limited to a maximum of 5 feet width, height and depth.

Only artworks completed within the past two years will be accepted into this show.

All submitted artwork needs a note attached to the back (for 2D) or to the bottom (for 3-D) of the piece upon delivery to the Hutchinson Art Center. The note should list the artist’s name, piece’s title, its price or Not For Sale (NFS), medium, and the year it was made.

2D artwork must be ready to hang, with either a wire or sawtooth hanger on the back.

Artwork must be delivered between September 9th - 28th during operational hours.

All participating artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception on October 4th, taking place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Family and friends of the artists, Hutchinson Art Association members and the general public are all invited to attend and celebrate this wonderful gathering of creativity! Admission is FREE and open to the public.
