GODDARD, Kan.—The Salthawk Boys Basketball Team won back to back games for the first time since 2013-14 season by rolling Eisenhower 66-47 at Goddard Eisenhower Friday night.
Hutch was led by Myles Thompson with 18 points. Treyton Peterson, Jake Huhs and Garrett Robinson each had 8 points to give the Salthawks a comfortable lead at half time 35-22.
In the first quarter, with 3:43 remaining the game was tied at 8-8 and then Hutch went on a 10-o run to lead 18-8 at the end of the first quarter.
The Salthawks locked in on defense in the final quarter after the game tightened up to only a 5 point Salthawk lead then Thompson and Robinson took over to hit big baskets down the stretch to get the win.
Hutchinson returns to league play next Tuesday night on the road at Derby .
