HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Feeding the hungry isn’t a job for just one church.
It takes a group of friends who believe that together we make a difference.
"This idea came from a poverty collaboration that took place seven years ago," said Beth Southern with the food drive. "Community churches have been sponsoring this multi faith Thanksgiving food drive ever since.
For the seventh consecutive year, there will be a Thanksgiving Food Drive with churches from across Hutchinson called “We’ll Leave Our Lights On.”
Sanctuary lights will shine in 20 Hutchinson churches on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
