Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) Athletic Director, Kyle Moody, announced today the hiring of Cody Bartlow to replace outgoing coach, Aaron Hoxie.
Bartlow comes to CCCK with 22 years of coaching and administrative experience. At the collegiate level, he coached at both NAIA and NCAA D2 schools; as a high school coach, he served in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and, with club soccer, in North Texas and Omaha.
Prior to coming to Central Christian, Coach Bartlow served as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Midland University from 2021-2023 where his team posted a 29-18-7 (.602) overall record, including a 20-9-3 (.672) mark in conference. In 2021-2022, he assisted on the Midland University men’s program. This past year he also served as a club Assistant Coach at Sporting Nebraska FC. From 2020-2021, he was the Assistant Women's coach at fellow SAC member Southwestern Christian University.
He has won five district championships, advanced to a pair of state semifinals, and earned two district coach of the year awards (2018-20), as well leading a team to the TAPPS State Championship in 2018.
Coach Bartlow graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Education in Kinesiology, and a Master of Arts in Sport Management. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Management
He currently holds a C License from the United States Soccer Federation as well as a PFSA Level 1 Certification in both Performance Analysis and Opposition Analysis.
Coach Bartlow added, “I want to thank Athletic Director Kyle Moody, President Favara, and the search committee for the honor of leading the Men’s Soccer program here at Central Christian College. I look forward to building upon the strong foundation Coach Hoxie laid over the past 12 years. Our aim is to continue to build the CCCK Men’s Soccer into a program that is regularly competing for conference championships and making our mark in National Tournaments while honoring God in all that we do.”
AD Moody commented, “We are thrilled to announce Cody Bartlow as our new head men's soccer coach. His experience in coaching and desire to seek Christ and shepherd his players on and off the pitch made him our top choice.”
Coach Bartlow has already begun his duties as head coach at CCCK, jumping into recruiting and getting acquainted with the program.
