PITTSBURG, Kan. - HutchCC Freshman Chris Johnson breaks the 1986 Blue Dragon outdoor pole vault record of Randy Bryant, clearing a nation-leading 16 feet, 7 1/4 inches on Saturday at the David Suenram Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg.

Johnson also was the KJCCC Track and Field Athlete of the week for week 3 of outdoor track and field on April 2nd.
