 </figure>NICKERSON,	Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School Board approved a new collective bargaining agreement with its teachers during Monday’s agenda session.Under the new contract base pay for teachers will increase $500 to $38,550. That increase and other changes to pay and benefits totals around $190,000.The board also approved a Memorandum of Understanding which was put into the new agreement that deals with any changes in the school year due to the pandemic.Under the agreement a committee consisting of representatives from each school building, a principal, and the superintendent will work to identify necessary changes to the Professional Agreement if the school year is altered in any way.
