๐Ÿ€ Salthawk Girls roll past Wichita Northwest 61-17

WICHITA, Kan.โ€”The Hutchinson Salthawk Girls started out slow, but used a huge 3rd quarter to roll Wichita Northwest 61-17 in Wichita at Wichita South gym Thursday night.

Neither team scored until a Mia Thompson free throw under 3 minutes in the first quarter put the Salthawks on top 1-0.  The first quarter saw Hutch with an 8-4 lead.  Then Jr. Harlie Wilson got it going and Hutch led at the half 24-9.

The Salthawks big 3rd quarter of 25 points scored was led by Gracie Keeler's 10 point effort.

Wilson led the Salthawks with 17 points on the night.

The Salthawks now travel up I-35 to Emporia for a 6pm game Friday.

The Emporia game will be streamed on the Emporia High Hudl channel
