The longtime couple — who have been dating since they were teenagers, are engaged.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 24, popped the question on Tuesday, revealing the happy news on his Instagram Stories with a photo of Matthews' stunning ring.
In addition to receiving his Super Bowl LIV championship ring, Mahomes gave out a ring of his own. He proposed to longtime girlfriend Brittany Matthews at Arrowhead Stadium today. The couple posted images of their engagement on their Instagram accounts following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony. Brittany showed off the cute proposal setup and Mahomes showed off the ring he gave to his future wife. It seems that Mahomes had the special moment planned out all along.
