HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with two reported rapes over the past several weeks.
The Reno County Sheriff's Department arrested Gabriel Trana Wednesday on suspicion of two counts of rape, aggravated sexual battery, and domestic battery.
He’s being held in the Reno County Correctional Facility on a bond of $112,500. Detectives could only release some information on the case, but did say the crimes involved two girls with one allegedly occurring in December and the other Tuesday night.
Trana is said to have known both of the victims in the case. Formal charges are expected in the coming days.
