HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The top seed in the NJCAA Tournament got all it wanted from Moberly Area on Tuesday at the Hutchinson Sports Arena, but Salt Lake hung on to win 86-83 after leading by 20 in the second half.

Moberly Area actually got a look that would have given them the lead in the game's final 10 seconds, but were not able to hit.

The Bruins were paced by Jordan Brinson's 25 points, Quincy McGriff had 20 points, Chase Adams had 13 and Jaquan Scott added 10.

The Greyhounds of Moberly Area were led by Sincere Parker's 24 points, Dorion Staples had 13 and James Dent and Michael Thomas had 12 in the loss.

Salt Lake advances to the quarterfinals of the tournament, where they will meet the winner of Odessa and Shelton State Thursday at noon.
