HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Late free throws by Jaquan Scott propelled the Salt Lake Bruins into the NJCAA Men's Division I Championship game after a 70-68 semifinal victory Friday over the Chipola Indians at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
The Bruins were led by 19 points from Quincy McGriff, Scott added 14, Max Watson had 13 and Jordan Brinson 10.
Chipola was paced by Achor Achor's 20 points, Nae'qwan Tomlin added 11.
Salt Lake, now 35-1, will play the winner of Triton and Northwest Florida State Saturday night at 6 p.m. in Hutchinson. Chipola closes its season at 30-6.
