Posted Dec 30, 2020 2:40 PM

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Longtime 27th District Court Judge Tim Chambers will retire next month.

Chambers will step down after serving 20 years on the bench. Before that he was the Reno County District Attorney and County Attorney. He also served in a private practice before that. He is a 1977 graduate of Washburn University School of Law.

Because of the pandemic, no reception can be held for Chambers, but he will be available Jan. 7 in the division two courtroom. If you are masked and can practice proper social distancing, you can come to a small meet and greet at that time. If you have worked with Judge Chambers, know him in his non-legal life or even appeared before him and want to wish him well in his retirement, you can do so.

If you would like to send a card or note, you can do so by sending it to:
