HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Uptown Hutch is getting another tenant. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet will be moving into the remaining area that was JCPenney next to Hutch Vintage Market. The total area is around 35,000 square feet.
Ollie’s is said to be one of America’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory with 389 stores.
According to Ollie's website, much of the merchandise comes directly from manufacturers in the country and abroad.
The company is also said to work with financial institutions to buy liquidated assets from closed businesses.
Andy Weiner with RockStep Capital says the store is expected to open by mid-summer.
