The Hutchinson High School Salthawks are hosting their annual "Pack the SAC" night on Friday against Salina South.
"Pack the SAC" is a friendly competition between the six elementary schools in USD 308. The competition is to see who can have the most students in attendance at the game.
The winning school will receive a pizza party at a date to be announced. The pizza party is sponsored by Papa John's Pizza.
In addition to the competition, the Salthawks are asking those coming to the game to bring a donation to the Reno County Food Bank. Last year, they gathered over 800 pounds of food for the food bank. The goal for this year is to get over 1,000 pounds of food collected.
The varsity girls game will tipoff at 6 p.m. followed by the boys' game immediately following. You can catch all the action on KWBW, beginning with the pregame show at 5:45 p.m.
