HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to the latest weekly numbers posted by Hutchinson Regional Healthcare system Monday, reflecting statistics from Sunday, the hospital is still under considerable pressure, but not insurmountable.
With an overall patient count of 54, that's 10 patients below the level last Tuesday when Chuck Welch with the hospital told county commissioners the hospital was on full diversion. The hospital has also added a new class of nurses since then.
The hospital has committed to weekly updates for the foreseeable future.
