HutchCC has landed a big one! Florida State four-star defensive tackle signee Emanuel 'Manny' Rogersis expected to enroll at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, according to a source with direct knowledge of his college plans.
Per the same source, the Jensen Beach (Fla.) product failed to fully qualify academically to enroll at FSU.
The plan is for Rogers to ultimately end up at FSU after his stint at Hutchinson Community College. FSU is aware of his plans to go to Hutchinson and intentions to eventually end up on campus at FSU, per the same source mentioned above. That individual also added that FSU and Hutchinson Community College have been in contact with one another pertaining to Rogers.
His placement at Hutchinson was described as a ‘best case scenario’ as those providing guidance to Rogers in this situation have a relationship with the staff, specifically head coach Drew Dallas, at the junior college.
A report date to Hutchinson C.C. for Rogers was not yet known.
Rogers committed to FSU in June of 2019. He signed with the Seminoles in December of 2019.
He was considered the No. 38 defensive tackle in the 2020 class according to the 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
