HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The pandemic interfered with the education system in ways many thought could not happen.
Another area where school districts suffered was their ability to hold fundraisers for various projects for athletic teams.
Hutchinson USD 308 says fundraising was down by more than $58,164 from the previous year after many events were canceled. The district fundraising events that were held generated just over $108,000.
The fundraising supports meals for athletic teams, trips for various clubs and competition funds for school clubs.
