HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The self-administered COVID-19 nasal swab test provided by WalMart and eTrueNorth that is performed by the individual in their vehicle has moved to the Hutchinson Walmart parking lot at 1905 East 17th starting today.
Those interested in being tested need to visit www.DoINeedaCOVID19test.com to see if eligible for testing and to make an appointment. To be tested, individuals must have a scheduled appointment and be present in a vehicle.
The regular schedule will Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays weekly, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. The site is open Tuesday, May 26, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and will resume its regular schedule on Wednesday, May 27.
None of the self-administered tests done in Reno County thus far have come back positive. Reno County Health Department director Nick Baldetti recommends that residents use their primary care provider to be tested, as those tests are administered by medical professionals.
